The fruit is sourced from the Haynes Street Vineyard in nearby Jordan in the Creek Shores sub-appellation.  From the "once in a generation" 2020 vintage! This is a blend of 52% Cabernet Franc and 48% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged 22 months in a combination of new and older barrels with an additional year of aging in bottle. Enjoy now or hold a few years for further development and maturation.

Appearance is dark red in colour. Aroma is bursting with ripe red and dark fruit jam, spice, vanilla, with a nice hint of oak. On the palate, a rich integrated mouthfeel with nice acidity and grippy tannins. Perfect to enjoy on its own ... even better with grilled meats, stews, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate. Very approachable now but should continue to develop nicely for the next few years.

Harvest: Machine harvested on October 26th and Nov 6th, 2020. Average Brix: 24.6, TA: 6.8 g/l, pH: 3.6

Bottling: Residual sugar: 2.7 g/l, TA: 5.9 g/l, pH: 3.7, Free SO2: 24 ppm – 14% alcohol
